disenfect spray on wood lacker

I sprayed Clorox disinfecting spray onto a black lacker wooden taple. White streaks started showing up shortly after. There is no change in texture, nor is the white scrapable, or removable physicly.

Does anybody have an idea what to do.!?!

Removing white mark on lacquer

Lacquer finishes are quite shiny and any attempt to make a repair to a particular area tends to require treating the whole surface in the same manner so the affected areas does not stand out. Lacquer repairs are best left to a professional.

Any remedy should be tested first in an inconspicuous area first to test ill effects. Lacquer should never be waxed or polished. All that is required is damp dusting (never dry dust as dust particles will scratch surface).

Go to www.refinishfurniture.com and search products for Ring Remover. This product is safe for lacquer finishes.
