Attic addition
Is it possible to make your attic space into a room if there is boards criss crossing your attic. I thought I had read somewhere if you attic looks like that then forget it. Is this true?

The roof structure is apparently supported with trusses. You cannot cut trusses, therefore you cannot finish the attic. There is only one way you could finish it. Have a structural engineer come in and reconfigure the trusses so that space can be provided for the finishing of the attic. Very expensive.
