Wood frame in block wall

How does one typically secure a 2x8 pressure treated frame for a window during hollow block basement construction. Saw a new house being built and couldn't see any screws or bolts from the "inside" of the frame (no windows yet).

What way would be recommended for putting a door in the hollow block basement? Use a wood frame also?

Thanks

The wood frames are held in place by special screws and screw anchors. The are called concrete screw anchors. Usually blue in color. You drill a hole with a hammer drill in the concrete, insert the anchor and then a screw through the wood and into the anchor. These are usually small screws and drill into the wood, making them almost invisable to the eye.
