Sinking, Saggy Floor.
Wanting to know how best to repair sagging spots in wraparound room/s. Home on Field stone foundation, wraparound is on field stone also with small crawl space.
Thinking of lifting floor competely and redoing all utilities at same time(most in this portion of house). My concern is how to support if I reframe and rejoist this area. Footers, Block, piers?

Bradford,
The first step is to figure out why the floors are sagging. Is there termite damage? Are the joists rotted out at the ends?
Even a new house can have sagging floors because of wood warping. Simple cases of bowing can be corrected by cutting the joist, jacking up the sag, and sistering a new joist onto the side of the old one. Make sure that you glue and bolt the new joist to the old joist and use the longest board you can fit in.
If you have numerous joists that are sagging, you may want to consider a couple of new piers supporting a new beam.
