I'm preparing our driveway for sealing. There are several areas with a lot of cracks going all directions. My husband calls it allergatoring. Do I use the cement that you put on with a trowel or is this where I would use the pot hole patch. Must I dig all this area out or can it just be put on top and tamped down? Most of the areas are not loose, just cracked. some along the edge of the driveway are loose. How about a blend of sand and the stuff you pour in?
thanks for the help.

Radiant Barrier

I have done some reading on radiant barriers for the Florida area and there appears to be a lot of positives.

I am not looking for any further reading but rather looking to hear from people who have actually used the product and know of their results. Do you think it helped and was worth the cost?

As moderator of Attics, I have to ask why are we talking about driveways here ? Have I missed something ? This seems more
like a garage forum question. Just asking.

I thought it was strange that after creating a new post, it attached itself as a reply to some random post instead of a new thread.

Should we delete this message and just create a new post?

Jack, Jim, and Anita, I was forced to be away from the forums for a while due to computer problems. Upon my return I see we have some new software controlling this. There have been several instances where posts seem to be put in the wrong forum, and eventually get totally lost.

Jack, do you know if anybody has pointed this problem out to Brandon (or whoever is running the show now)? If not, either you, or I (or BOTH of us) need to.
