Unhappy ASBESTOS Floor

I had the floor tiles in my basement tested and they are VERY positive for asbestos. I'm just starting to finish the basement and covering these tiles has be perplexed.

Does anyone have any good ideas for covering them (keeping in mind, cost issues)? I would like to tile, however, I'm afraid the loose tiles may prove to be an issue. They are too ugly and broken up to keep as-is and removal is out of the question.

Thanks for your help!

I would just remove the loose ones, and then fill the void with floor leveler and go right over the top of them.

assbestos

Just remove it. I am getting the asbestos removed from our basement it will only cost us $900. It sounds like a lot but when selling it will be a huge selling point.

A friend of mine taped over the asbestos and when he decided to get rid of it the price sky rocketed.

It takes one day and it is gone.
