No question here, but I wanted to share some info with the readers. I got enought information from the posts to tackle removing a cast iron tub by breaking it with a sledge hammer. With 8 pound hammer, it took about 45 minutes, including hauling the pieces out. Break it into as small of pieces as needed to remove. It wasn't as hard to do as expected and much easier than tearing out a wall. I have a couple of pictures of the task if anyone wants to see them.

Question basement walls

I want to fix up my basement. The walls are not finished at this time. They are concrete. They are cracked, but do not leak. I want to cover them with styrofoam, and the decorate it with either paint or other things. My husband thinks this is bad idea. I think it's cheap and quick. I've been waiting for 10 years to get this done. I think that's long enough. Could I please get come opinions on this. I will concider any other ideas. My husband does not have one.
Thank you,
