Best Full Basement Wall

Best Full Basement Wall
What is the best basement wall for a full basement in Minnesota.
I've hung continuous plastic on the block wall prior to completion of a full 2x4 wall. The plan was to insulate the wall cavities with paper faced insulation. But now I've heard this may not be the best idea.
Do you have a better recommendation? I haven't had moisture problems in the past, but I did get a lot of moisture out of the basement when I ran a dehumidifier in the summer.
Thanks for any input.

Best wall
I've used the paper backed batt insulation on previous basement jobs and have been unsatisfied. Through experience I've learned that a combination of rigid foam insulation, insulation tape, and an air barrier works best.
You can use any size foam board over 1/2".
Take the foam and glue it to the existing wall using construction adheasive. Once all the sheets are installed you must tape all the seams with insulating tape. Then prefab your stud walls and nail in place.
This method has worked well for me in the past. It creates a more stable environment both during summer and winter. It also makes future wire pulls a breeze b/c of the air cavity.
Good luck!
