rocking,mud & tape bids
With the help of you all I handled the framing and it worked out very well. The ROCK! I'll leave to the pro's. I have a former home builder now with his own business willing to rock ,mud and tape my basement. I am also rocking the ceiling. The walls are 600 sq ft then you throw in the ceiling. I got a price of $2635 that includes all materials. How is that for pricing? All responses are appreciated.

Figure $43 per finished sheet. That includes all materials: rock, mud, tape, texture and clean up. I live in CO and that is a good price. I'm having a 1,500 sf. basement with hard lid ceilings done for less than $4,300.

Tapers usually charge by the sq. ft. It can be anywhere from 35 cents to 50 cents a sq ft. In some large metro areas, it can range upward to 75 cents a foot. I do alot of jobs for $1.00 a foot.
