attic renovation

ok here goes.
i'm renovating my attic to make a master bedroom. the walls are sloped so i'm making a small wall along the bottom into which i'm going to place the outlets. now. my dh wants to isulate before we put in the wall framing but i know you have to do the electrical before insulating and i'll need a wire going up to the ceiling for the lights. can we insulate then run the wire up to the ceiling or no? the outlets won't be near the insulation so i'm not worried about that i just am worried about the one running to the light fixtures and their accompanying switches. HELP

sounds like an excellent use of space. Frame it, insulate next if you prefer and then the wire. I personally would prefer to insulate after the wire, but makes no difference. Remember, NOTHING CAN GO WRONG!
