handlebar exchange
I'm planning on trying to put the riser handlebars on the blue bike onto the black bike, after I try to take the straight handlebars off the black bike.

Seems like the handgrips on the black bike's straight handlebars don't want to come off. I'm pretty sure I'd have to get those off in order to slide the handlebars out. But they're like stuck on. How do they come off? I've never tried taking handlbars off. Any comments/suggestions on how for me to get this accomplished would be appreciated. And it looks like if I loosen the clamp in the middle all the way it still won't be able to open wide enough to get the handlebars out of it, unless it might slide out sideways. Is that the way it's supposed to be done? I don't want to exchange the gear changer controls or brake handles, just the handlebar. I don't want that straight handlebar on the black bike. I want to put the riser handlebar from the blue bike on it instead. I got the tools but just not the know-how. thanks
