Need Heavy Duty Metal alternative for Tension wheel.
My exercise bike has a tension wheel that rubs against the main wheel.
The insides are small metal bearing hubs, but the body is hard plastic & eventually melts from the heat & usually within 6-8months the main body falls apart.
Looking for a full metal body one that's about 5cm total diameter for a 8mm axel.

What is the make and model of the bike?
I will probably be asking for pictures of the wheel in question, but make and model will probably make getting a parts list easy.
Have you tried contacting the manufacture? They may have discovered the issues you are having and come up with an upgrade solution already.
