Question Vertical blind trouble

One of the slats won't move right, it will rotate to open the blinds but this one prevents the blinds from going all the way across the track to cover the window. My mom was shown a quick fix years ago from our builder, but he has since moved out of state. Can anyone help? Thanks. Name: IMGA0706.jpg

The vane carriers in the center of your photo should not be that close. Do the vanes rotate OK? Do they draw one-way (all to the left or right) or they open from the center?

Yeah they rotate, and they draw one-way. I'm having trouble expressing the problem what with the lingo, but this one "vane" will move to where they are all bunched up on one side but not as far as it needs to be when the blinds are crossing the window.

I assume you draw the blind with the vanes in the open position (IIIIIIIII). Can you post a photo with the vanes in the open position.
