Roller shade chain

Hi guys,
The chain of my roller shade has come out. All of the guides I have found online for replacing it don't seem to match up with my type of blind. If anyone is willing to help I could send through some photos of the piece. The roller control end piece that the cord needs to go back in to doesn't have a screw nor a latch piece.

Looking at the second picture above....try squeezing the two prongs in the center together and pushing on them. I think the end cap will pop off allowing you to put the chain on and then replace the cap. Mind you, I've never done one like this, but that's my best guess.

Is the chain a continuous loop or is there a link you can open?
