Cell shade coming unglued .. is there a method to fix.

Hi There !

We have several cell shades that have seen a few years of sun and the glue is starting to separate. I'd like to use some fabric glue to adhere them again. Is this possible ? Does anyone have a good technique .... I have a few ideas.

I do believe this is adhesive between each pleat.

Cheers,
Brett

Hi and welcome to the forum! Don't know about repairing them but thinking you could use an artist brush, a small one, and paint the glue on sparingly. Let it dry overnight before using it.

I think a conventional glue gun would work, but if one section is coming apart the others are probably not far behind!

Don't waste your time, it won't last and will look horrible.
