I am having trouble sourcing parts for what I am told are Kirsch horizontal honeycomb blinds. I am attaching pictures hoping that someone can identify this part and tell me what it is actually called or, even better, a part number I can search for. The picture with the U.S. quarter for scale has the part I am looking for.
Thank you. The shade. A little closer... Tension odules assembled and functional. Tension modules with broken springs Broken module. What is this thing called? Part number?
What technique or method would be the best to join the string on faux blinds to extend it ?I already have the extra . Is there a crimp used or maybe a way to sew them together ? I can knot it but would rather not .The squarestring parts that hold the blinds in is also where I will attatch but I can use small wire an maybe some epoxy at 2 corners at those squares since they only turn an dont go thru any holes ...
{these are some big 40 inch by 55 an $150 to replace both so I'd rather extend them 5 inches for a few bucks since I have extra off other blinds.]
i might find something at a hobby store too but wanted some ideas .
thanks .
guys - I'm doing an automated blinds project and know where to get the motorized parts, etc but just realized most common websites are very expensive for the size I need (104x86). Have any of you just bought raw material and made your actual blinds? Or do you suggest any other website for lower costs - is aliexpress wortha try? I'm hoping to be under $200 for this size solar shades with 5% transparency in beige
Thank you
