Hi, I have a shade that abruptly fell off the wall, after being installed 6 years ago. Can anyone offer advice on how to fix the situation? I don't understand what part is broken. Thank you as always to this great forum. The left bracket The left end cap and roller tube The right side of the roller tube The right bracket and clutch
From your photos it looks like you are missing a piece. Picture 3 inserts into picture 4. That end is easy. The other end, pictures 1 & 2 appear to be missing a piece. It probably has a sloped slot that the pin shaped protrusion fits into.
Thank you.Can you suggest more detail about the missing piece? When I look at shade diagrams I'm not able to identify what's missing. Also can you suggest more about might have broken and why the shade fell down? I'm not sure what I have to fix to put it back up.
You might have everything you need. Shove the large male protrusion into the open end of the blind. Then on the other end push in the small diameter male protrusion. It should be spring loaded. And insert it into the hole in the bracket.
You know these kind that don't have the rope/string to wind em back up? I didn't even know these are what I had and by accident figured out they just go up on their own with a bit of assistance. But these ones aren't. What's the trick to make em work when they won't?
