Exclamation leaking steam radiator

I have been working on my steam radiators for a few days now and need some help. I have cast iron steam radiators from the 20s (I think). They are American Radiators and the pipe dimension to attach to the isolator valve is 1 and 3/4". Very odd size and I can't find fittings for this in the hardware store. But the radiator seems to be leaking from the the tube coupling in the center of the radiator. Is there any easy way to fix this? If not, where can I find a replacement for this radiator since it is an odd pipe size?

There isn'treally an odd pipe size. If the radiator is leaking anywhere in between the ends, it is not repairable. At least not to my knowledge. You would need to contact a heating parts supplier and give them the dimensions of the radiator and they could order it. It will probably be expensive but I think it is the only way to keep your system original and working properly.
