Furnace Problems

I just moved into my first house and my furnace has shut down. I have steam radiators and have tried bleeding them and I have had no luck (not sure if I did this correctly). The reset button kicks in the furnace for a few seconds, but that is it. The hot water does not work. I tried replacing the thermostat but that did not do anything. All fuses look fine. Please help me out. Thanks

If the reset made the burner try to work, it is locked out on safety. About the only thing you can check is for fuel in the tank. If you have that, call for service. It is not related to water or thermostat. It is a burner issue. Maybe ignition. Maybe fuel but definitely a burner problem.
