Power Head Not working

Power Head Not working
I have a 3 zone baseboard heating system. 2 of my zone valves have stopped working. If I remove the power head while still wired the curculator kicks in. If I leave the head attached and manually open the valve I hear the value open but the circulator kick in. What is going on?

Sounds like a Taco valve. If you take the head off with power applied, you most likely runied the valve. Possibly not if it is a gold head, but you probably should replace the heads. You may not have a large enough transformer but it only takes 40va for all 3 valves. Make sure the heat anticipators on the thermostats are set at .9 and if they don't open, replace them.
