No hot water in part of zone

Hi,

I have 3 zones with my oil furnance. Two zones work perfectly but the 3rd zone has one problem. The 3rd zone supplies hot water to both floors of a colonial. This zone has 4 or 5 loops that supply hot water to the radiators and the baseheaters. There is one loop, on the main floor, where the water does not get hot or warm. Last night I bleed that loop, and only water, no air, came out. The radiators on the 2nd floor receive hot water. Any ideas?

Thanks

If there is water in that loop, and it is not getting hot, then it cannot be circulating through the boiler. Either the circulation pump is not running, or there is a valve closed somewhere.

Did it ever have heat, historically?

Was hot last year (sometimes)

Hi,

One pump moves the water for all 3 zones. This is my 4th winter in the home. Last year it did get hot. However, I noticed that sometimes the water began to move through that loop on that zone when another zone was calling for heat. I turned the thermostat up on a second zone the other night, but had no luck.
