Question Honeywell Gas Valve

I have a rudd hot water boiler heating system.
It uses a Honeywell gas valve.

The pilot stays lit when the boiler is not being used but when the boiler kicks on and the main gas lights after about 1 or 2 cycles the pilot goes out.

Is the problem due to the pilot not being strong enough? if so where is the adjustment on the gas valve?

I asume the therocouple is working ok as the pilot stays lit when the bolir is not cycling

You sure the pilot orifice is clean, the venturi around it clean. You dont say Lp or nat gas. Is the pressure in the gas line ok?

Post Gas Valve

Hello Ed.

Thanks for your reply

Gas supply is Nat Gas
Gas pressure is good when main burner lights

To clean pilot orifice do I have to disconnect pilot line from gas valve and burner?
What is venturi? and how do I clean?

Is there an adjustment for pilot pressure on the gas valve?
On the boiler documentation it mentions a adjustment for pilot but dos'nt tell you were it is!!
