Heat zoning...

I know there are product out there that a computer can monitor/control heating controls. Also, I have a feeling that the most econonmical way to control heating is to activate/deactivate radiant floor heating with a secondary heating system.

I'm starting some detail work on building a new house and was wondering what other people would do to make a high tech zoned heating and cooling system?

Radiant heat does not work well when large temperature swings are required. It is very economical to operate but comfort suffers when you ask it to recover several degrees in a short period of time.
