weld or replace?

Well, the recent cold snap here in Ohio caused one of my radiators to blow a 2x3 chunk out of the upper corner. In short, would a spot weld keep this thing operational or should I look into replacing the entire radiator (in which case, where in the world do i find radiators)? thanks.

Hi there, here in New England we have those home demolition yards just like an automotive junk yard scattered from place to place and you can find anything including tons of old radiators from older homes that had steam heat here in the northeast. I'm sure if you ask around these businesses are not far from you also. They do a great business with folks who are DIY on older and not so older homes. Sometimes people are looking for a piece of character to add to their home and this is where they might shop. You didn't say if the 2x3 was mm, cm, inches or God forbid anything larger. I would replace it.
