One pipe steam system radiator leaks

I have some steam radiators that leak from the nut connecting them to the shut off radiator valve. It is supposed to be any gasket there because I did not see any. How can I fix the leak? I tried teflon tape, steam piping sealer with no result. Thank you

If I understand correctly you are referring to the coupling from the steam valve to the radiaton. These couplings do not use a gasket. The radiator and the valve coupling must be aligned precisely and then the coupling can be tightened enough to stop leakage. You should be able to hand tighten the coupling almost all the way if the alignment is correct. Then a good monkey wrench to finish the tightening process.
