Base Board heating sounds

Recently my base board heating has been exhibiting the sounds of running water. It sounds like its running through the pipes at varying degrees. Could that mean the heating coil is starting to go? Or might it mean that I'm getting intermittent freezing in my lines?

Anyone have a suggestion?

What's your pressure and temp reading at the boiler?

Have you bleed the lines to make sure there is no air in the system?

Like Jay says, check pressure and add water if necessary and then get that air out of the system.
