munchkin banging

hello. i have a new (less than 5 months) munchkin 140m supporting 4 zones (+ super stor) - 1 hydronic air and 3 baseboard zones. a problem started a while back that has increased in frequency. basically, the system enters a highly noisey state where it sounds like the boiler is banging or fluttering violently. it actually sounds like its gonna blow up. as it happens and shortly after, there is a gas/exhaust smell in the area. we have bled the system of air several times. it happens at no specific time (not necessary at start up, when more than 1 zone is calling, when 1 zone is calling, etc...). is there a chance the exhaust is filling with condensate and causing back pressure or similar? i am at my wits end as i am worried about something serious happening. thank you

Call the installing contractor. It should be a warranty call. Don't mess with it yourself.
