have to buy a new boiler

By the looks of some of the messages on you site it looks like I will need a new hot water boiler in the near future. My heating guy told me that the water is purculating in the boiler causing awful noise that revereberate through the house. I have been shutting off my furnace every summer for the last 5 years. It appears that that was not a good idea. When I opened up a valve there was a lot of black crap that came out of the valve. My question is what is the best make and model to buy. I now have a Weil Mclean. I live in northern Canada and it gets as cold as -40 degrees in the winter. Which one is most reliable and efficient? Should i get the unit that also doubles up as a hot water heater..I purchased a new hot water tank 2 years ago. My house is two stories and about 2,000 square feet. thanks

New Boiler

Two of my favorite boilers are made by Crown & Buderus. I highly recommend an indirect water heater.
