hot water boiler

Is it possible to use a compressor to make sure you have all the water out of your boiler. I want to put anti-freeze into the boiler I am afraid the compressor might damage the pump I have talked to 4 plumbers and get conflicting opinions

Blowing out boiler

It will not hurt the boiler or any components as long as you keep the pressure to <30 psig. You don't need to get all of the water out. BTW, I don't suggest the use of anti-freeze unless this is a weekend home or something similar.
