getting heat when the hot water tank runs

My home is was built 2yrs ago and when the hot water tank is filling up after being used the base board on one zone warm up. This summer we turned off the zones to save on energy. But is that the way it should be and is it going to hurt something? Thank you.

Unwanted heat

You could have any or a combination of problems including: Controls incorrectly wired. Stuck flow control valve(s). Stuck zone valve(s). Poor design &/or installation.
I suggest you call a local service company familiar with hydronic heat.
