new to hot water heat

I am buying a house that has a hot water boiler with hot water baseboard heaters. Do I need to bleed these heaters off at the beginning of the heating season? I used to have radiators a few years ago in another house had to do the same but I was not sure if it is the same thing. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thank you

Dont bleed anything unless you feel you got air in the lines and thus a "no-heat" condition. Many people feel that leaving the old water in the system is the best thing you can do to extend the longevity of a boiler.
