Posts: 1 Xyz62 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I live in N.Y.C. and I have a Weil-Mclain gas boiler with an electronic pilot light. This morning when I went to turn the boiler on it took about 50 clicks of the pilot to get the boiler to fire up it used to take about 20. after the boiler fired up the pilot light kept on clicking. When I disconnected the pilot light cable from the ignitor you could here the ignitor keep clicking away.Once the Flame turned off the pilot would stop clicking,but once the water temp dropped, the pilot would come back on, ignite the gas after about 50 clicks and then stay on clicking until the flame went off. Would appreciate any help. thanks hm

Hi. I know nothing about boilers. I bought my house in the summer and I recently tried to turn my upstairs (2 zone) thermostat on. Nothing is happening upstairs. No heat. I'm really not a handy guy, so please be gentle with the jargon. If you mention bleeding, I'll likely look on my body for a gash. Before I do anything drastic and start taking things apart, are there some simple things to check first? Heat on the first floor works fine. Thanks a lot.
