Boiler Replacement Advice Needed

I am replacing my old boiler with a new NTI Trinity combi boiler. The old zones were piped with 1 1/4 manifold ", the new boiler primary zone is 1". Will this create a problem?

No problem for the 1" primary as it is dedicated for circulation to and from the boiler. The primary is an extention of the boiler. The 11/4 secondary will have to tie into the primary. I have seen many mistakes with new boilers being installed incorrectly so I would suggest making sure the installer knows how to install a primary/seconday system. Here is the link to the instructions see page 10 and start reading from there. Better yet read the whole thing to get a jist of the comlexity to the installation and the risks if it is installed wrong.

Thumbs down

we had a trinity boiler installed 2 years ago. We turned it off 1/2 year ago because we were unable to find anyone that could service it.
