York boiler water temp too hot

We just moved into a house that has uses a York boiler for hot water. The water is very hot at all of the faucets so I opened up the boiler to see if there was a thermostat to adjust it and have been unable to find one. The temp gauge is reading 220+ so I really need to adjust this down quite a bit. The best that I can make out on the model number is GT5-250B. The house was built in 1955 and I believe that this is original equipment.

If anybody can guide me in the right direction on how to lower the water temperature I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
Brian

1955 Boiler

I would not even venture a guess as to what contols the boiler temperature on something that old. You really should get someone in to look at it & install a tempering valve for the domestic hot water.
