I am installing a Utica Boiler and my question is reference to an Amtrol expansion tank.On the tank,it says "Pre-Charge Pressure 12 PSI" Do I install the tank as is or must I check the pressure with a guage and add air using a compressor making sure its at 12 psi12?

Hello all. I have a two zone hot water system, oil furnace. The house is quite large and had been told I would probably want to split the zones. I had thought of zone valves, but in an earlier post, Grady had suggested thermostatic radiator valves. My question is, where can you get info on them and where can you get them. I looked all over the web and can't find anything. Thanks in advance for your help. side info. The house is 2000 sg ft. zone one controls master b/r, bath, kitchen, dining room. zone 2 controls living room and spare b/r's. The spare bedrooms get hot, while the living room is frigid, the thermometer is in the hall way on the spare room side. zone one's problem mainly needs more radiant, but also needs to be split as the thermometer is in the b/r.
