Burnham boilers

I received two different quotes on Burnham Boilers, which is better unit: 1)Burnham MP084 completely installed w/ S-41 Amtrol Hotwater maker, replacing current electric water heater - $7,722.00
2)Burnham Boiler w/ indirect PV83WC w/ AL40A $7,636
3)Buderus Boiler w/ Indirect Watr Htr G115B34 w/ S120 $8,236.

I am replacing a 50 y.o. furnace for efficiency, trying to watch budget, but want a good unit that will save me money over the years to come. I appreciate any opinions about these units and differences.

All the best and happy holidays,

Tim

Burnham or Buderus

I did not check sizes on the boilers but presuming they are all comparably sized & most importantly sized correctly for your house, I would go with the Buderus. I know it is more money but Buderus equipment is top shelf. Nothing wrong with Burnham at all. I just feel you are getting more bang for your buck with the Buderus.
