putting in base board pumping.

i want to do a room with hot water base board heat. has anyone ever heard of running the pipes. i talking about running pipe one way and then return it with the pipe run over the the pipes i ran first. i sure it can be done. but can i use
half inch pipe for the return. if you have any question about what i'am saying.
please ask. i will try again what i'am saying. i can't go under the floor were it end. thanks

Baseboard piping

You can certainly run the return above the element. I have a room done that way. If the baseboard is 3/4", the return pipe should also be at least 3/4".
