Transformer for L8148A Aquastat

Hi all,

Is it possible to replace just the transformer in the L8148A aquastat?

The primary coil is burnt out. I tried Lowes and Home Depot, none of them have the A version, just the J, which is low voltage.
Since I know what the problem is, maybe I can just change the transformer out, instead of the whole thing.
The number on the transformer is 202377A.
It is about 1.5X1.5X1.5 inches.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

You cannot replace any components of that control. The new 7124 control has replaceable relays but not the transformer.

Thanks for your reply.

I was able to find another type of Aquastat that had the same transformer. I swapped out the transformers using a soldering iron. now I have heat!

Thats an area where labor cost and liability issues make a DIY job feasable where a professional for-hire job is not. Glad you have heat again.
