very little heat from baseboard hot water
greeting folks, this is an excellent forum which has helped me before. I have an older hot water baseboard system, installed in a single floor ranch home. Its a single loop, not zoned. My system didn't have any bleeders on the slant fin baseboards, recently the ciculating pump had to be replaced, while i was doing that i installed a bleeder on the baseboard at the end of the heating run, My problem is still a lack of heat. the first couple of baseboards are ok, the further away from the boiler the colder they get.shouldn't these baseboards be very warm to the touch? Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might offer, Jim in steeler country

Did you replace the circ with a different model? Every rad on that loop takes some heat away. The slower that loop flows, the less even the heat will be from start to finish (higher delta T). If you don't have flow it could be the circ or it could be air or some other obstruction (partially closed isolation valve, excessive bypass back to boiler, etc.)
