Help!! What equipment do I need
Hello Guys..
in my close lo temperature heating system, I've got the following..
- a boiler
- Piping system
- a pump
- Radiators
what else shall I Install..
I gues I need an expansion tank, a thermostat, by-pass..
I've heard of these but I've got no idea what to choose and hat to do..
what shall I add for better performance, and beter design???
another question.. what kind of pump shall I use.. ?? is centrifugal ok??
Theoretically Speaking...
I really appreciate your help..

For expansion tanks, use a bladder type not the traditional conventional type; several manufacturers have quality offerings here. Spirovent makes a very good air eliminator. For circs, the pump curve is more important than anything else. Taco, Grundfos, B&G, Armstrong and others all make good circs.
For boilers, it really depends on the application, the design of the system and the choice of fuel.
If you want to know how to optimize your system may I suggest:
Modern Hydronic Heating
(for Residential and Light Commercial Buildings, 2nd Ed.)
