Radiator Covers
Old home, bunch of radiators and I would like to find material that would still let the heat through but will let me cover the radiator. We have a couple of 'home made' radiator covers that have front that has lots of holes. But for our bathroom, we would like to mask the large radiator as a cabinet-therefore would like to use solid material (or at least something that looks like solid).

Covering Radiators
If you cover them you will reduce the heat output. Rads are dependent upon surface area. The more surface area, the more heat output. All those curves & spaces between the sections were not done for the sake of "pretty".
