What end does shut off go on?
I am going to put hydronic cast iron baseboard on the wall.
The water comes from my main trunkline, into one end of the baseboard........thru it..........and out the other end. Back into the main trunkline,on its merry way to the next baseboard.
My question is; On what end of the baseboard do I put a shut off valve? The water entry end? The water exit end? Both ends?
Thank-you in advance...........cloud 9

Hydronic Baseboard
Before I try to answer that question, I need to ask one: Does the "main trunkline" continue on with two tees to each radiator or does it simply go thru the radiation then on to the next.
Like this: ___!-----!___ OR this ___!-----!____ With the area between the exclamation points being a piece of radiation.
