Question Boiler

Does anybody have any experience with water boilers? We just purchased a home with a Burnham boiler. This unit heats our house and hot water. Are you suppose to turn the water flow off in the summer? Some of the baseboard units are warm and we noticed our gas bill has not gone down. The thermastats are turned all the way down. Do not have an owners manual. Thanks for any help in advance.

Warm baseboard

If you can host some pictures of the boiler & nearby piping, they could be a big help in trying to help you.

If you have more than one thermostat for heating, are all the zones exibiting this same problem?

Zones

If you have a circulating pump for each zone, the flow check for the zone giving you trouble is probably leaking thru. If you have only one circulator, you probably have a zone valve sticking. The pics will help.
