Honeywell Old Style Round Thermostat Upgrade

I wanted to run by a configuration before I upgraded my non-programable thermostat. I actually have 2 of these, one is for the circulator pump and the other is for the furnace. The prior owner had left instructions to set them approximately the same temp. I was wondering if I used something like the honeywell 7500, do I just hook the R/W wires from both units into the same location? There is only one circulator pump in the system? Sorry if this sounds confusing.

Confused

Yes it is confusing. You say "furnace" & "circulating pump". You also say you have two thermostats. Do you have two heating systems, one hot water & the other warm air?

Sorry by Furnace I mistyped.. meant Boiler

I only have 1 heating system, a boiler with a circulator pump.

I think this system has been "jerry rigged" by a previous owner. I wouldn't touch a thing until a pro has had a chance to look it all over. There shouldn't be separate thermostats for boiler and circulator.

Jerry rigged

I agree with Doug. I think it would be well worth the cost of a service call to have a pro look over the control system.
