grundfos circulator stuck?

I have a grundfos type up 15-42 f, and it's not kicking in. A friend of mine told me I could screw off the stainless cap to find a screw slot which I could turn to free it up. When I got it off, a small but persistent stream squirted out at me, but no screw slot was revealed.

What now?

Are you sure you have power to it? I'm not very familiar with the newer Grundfoss circulators but the older ones did have a recess in the the back of the rotor under the stainless cap & often they would leak water. If you are sure you have power to the circulator, you can take a small hammer & tap around the body of the motor. Sometimes that will free up a stuck circ.
