relief valve problem

relief valve problem

i have a 40 gallon GE electric hot water heater, i noticed that my relief valve drips pretty good about every 30 minutes or so, i thought well i have a bad relief, i replaced it, i still i have the same problem!
well i thought i had a bad thermastat, i replaced upper and lower thermastats, i still have the same problem, something is causing the relief valve to do it's job i just don,t know what....
any ideas on what i need to do..............

Relief Valve

You might want to add an expansion tank. Make sure you get one for hot domestic water not a boiler expansion or well tank.

I have a two story colonial. 70+ years old. I replaced the steam boiler two years ago and it works very well at times. However, some of the radiators don't heat up at times and it changes from time to time which ones. Last year, an upstairs room was always the warmest in the house: This year that room doesn't heat up (thus far). What would cause this? Where should I start here? Any help is greatly appreciated Bob

Hello how can I tell that the circular in my boiler system is working correctly? I think it is a “Tacco 007-4F” brand I am not sure about the spelling. Thank you.
