Baxi 80E no pilot light - no warnings either

Had a few problems with this crap boiler,

Today the pilot light won't ignite, there are no warnings, the power light is on but the yellow light won't come on to indicate the pilot light is running, i can hear a fan working .
i have pressed the button inisde the boiler on the left along the copper pipe (thinking it is a reset ) or i could be pressing nothing.

any ideas - its a bit cold

tried turning to reset also and turning it off for a few minutes

No pilot

Most burners must establish draft before they will light. Make sure the vent pipe is clear & not clogged. What ignition control is on the boiler?

Cool Wall mounted boiler

I googled it and found lots of people have had problems with them. If the power venter is running, but the pilot light wont come on (this has an intermittant pilot instead of a standing pilot I assume), then the fan switch probbably isn't proving. Go outside to where it vents and see is it is blowing or not, and also check for obstructions. This is the first step.
