Leaky pipe, boiler question
I have a leaky pipe through a union coming out of one of my radiators. I was wondering what steps I need to follow to fix this.
Do I need to purge the whole system before disconnecting the pipe? I know this isn't good for the system.
After the repair is made what steps do I need to do to get the system operating once again?
Thanks

If it's a union, just tighten it. They are notorious for leaking. Probably not a bad idea to isolate that spot as much as possible in case you inadvertently loosen it first, but like I said, if it's the union - it's just a matter of tightening it.

Hot water heat
I beileve I can fix the leak. I'm just worried about damaging my pump or boiler.
