Circulator Question

My Taco circulator gets very hot near the motor area before the heated water comes around to it. If I wipe some water on it, it will steam off. I live on a one level ranch and it takes less than a minute to circulate the water. Should it get this hot?

The motor is water cooled and the max water temp is 225 degrees F. That means that the motor can be cooled by water that is 225 degrees. If it circulates, it is working.
