Pilot Light on Boiler Goes Out
I have a gas fueled boiler for heating and the pilot light seems to go out frequently (2 or 3 times a week).
The boiler is inside (basement) and there is no breeze coming there. Also, it is in a protected area and the kids do not have access to this area.
The pilot light is behind two metal plates on the boiler.
What could this problem be and how should I go about taking care of this?
Thanks for your help.

Pilot problem
I suggest replacing the thermocouple & cleaning the pilot burner. Do not use any kind of metal to clean the pilot orifice. Canned air such as you use on your keyboard often works well. The thermocouple is a small metal cylinder with a copper tube which the pilot flame heats.
